Ed Litton serves as lead pastor of Redemption Church in Mobile, Alabama, a multi-site congregation focused on church planting, missions, and disciple-making. He previously planted Mountain View Baptist Church in 1987 and became pastor of First Baptist North Mobile in 1994, later helping lead its relaunch as Redemption Church. Under his leadership, the church has supported church plants across North America, including in New York City, Cleveland, Denver, Tucson, Northern Virginia, Las Vegas, and Puerto Rico. Ed holds degrees from Grand Canyon University, Southwestern Theological Seminary, and The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, and served as the 63rd president of the Southern Baptist Convention.
